Pidgin Hunter
Pidgin Hunter is a tool that is intended to simplify the forensic analysis of files left by the use of Pidgin. This program features the ability to:
- Retrieve and display chat logs for all Pidgin accounts
- Retrieve and display buddy lists for all Pidgin accounts
- Retrieve and display Pidgin account usernames, passwords, and protocols
- Save retrieved information based on provided case number
- Search chat logs for words or phrases, review the specified logs, then export selected chat logs
System Requirements
- Windows operating system
- .NET 2 framework
Limitations
- Pidgin Hunter will only detect Pidgin Installations on computers running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.
