The Next Month

I’ve got so much to do over the next month, starting with my 20 page term paper for cyber forensics.  My chosen topic is video game consoles and their importance as potential digital evidence.  I’ve got a pretty solid outline worked out, now I just need to fill it up with 20 pages of content.  Bleh.

On top of that, I’ve got exams to study for, plus the GRE.  If I’m going to get into grad school, I’m going to have to do well on that.  Unfortunately, that means I’ll have to re-learn math, something I haven’t used in 3 years.  I still need to talk to my professors about all of that.

Then there’s all the driving I’ll be doing.  Driving home and back for Thanksgiving, home and back for Christmas, John’s house for skiing, etc.  I’ve finally found what I hope is a solution for my skiing troubles: Snow skates.  They’re like roller blades, except for snow.  I finally found a pair (the company that makes them went out of business years ago, so they’re pretty hard to find), and I’ll be testing them as soon as we get our first blizzard.  I’ve also requested most of December off from work, so hopefully I’ll be able to actually spend some time with my family this year.

Then there’s new year’s, and Adam back from Japan for a bit.  Due to my online income, I’ll definitely be able to afford a trip this summer, and we’re going to start hashing out an itenerary.  I was originally planning on staying out there for two weeks, but Adam suggests I expand that a bit so that I can see and do more.  We’ll see.

when did grad school become an option? haha

if you’ve got a lot of driving, perhaps I can make you a metal CD? *grin*

also…if you are going skiing with John I may consider it as well?
