Early Birthday Present
I was walking around in a pet store today, and I noticed that they had a couple crowntail bettas. Those are pretty uncommon to see in pet stores, so of course I made a big deal about it. My Mom asked me if I wanted one for my birthday, so of course I said yes. Now my new betta is sitting next to his new five gallon hex tank, waiting for the water to cycle and the temperature to equalize. I’ll put him in tomorrow.
Driving back is going to be awkward with a half-empty tank, but I’ll manage. I’m hoping the fish isn’t too traumatized by the whole event. I’ll post pictures of the new setup later.
