One Million Kinds of Stupid

My Mom has carried pepper spray in her purse for as long as I can remember.  When I was little, she told me that it was dangerous and would make me cough.  I knew not to touch it or play with it, and figured that was common sense.  That’s why I’m wondering what the flying fuck was going through that idiot’s head last night when he discharged pepper spay in the basement of Beering.  In the karaoke room.  Which was filled with people.

We’ve always had a ‘case-by-case basis’ policy when it comes to allowing high schoolers in the club.  This year we have a few, two of which I didn’t even know were high schoolers until Chris told me.  They don’t really look like high schoolers, and they certainly don’t act like high schoolers.  The other ones though, yeah, they’re definitely high schoolers.  “I only sprayed a little.”  What an idiot.

Chris handled the whole thing better than I would have.  While I would have verbally beaten the kid to death and kicked him out for two weeks, Chris just quietly let him know that if he ever did something like that again, he wouldn’t be coming back.  Different leadership styles I guess.
