I have a dream
If I suddenly found myself with a ridiculous amount of money, I know what I’d do with it. I’d purchase a nice building in Chicago and create
THE FATPIPE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER
Floor 1: Retro. Over 100 classic arcade games, and I do mean classic. None of this ‘Ripoff Racer 12′ crap. I’m talking Pac-Man, Sinistar, Gauntlet, the good stuff.
Floor 2: The music zone. Every Bemani machine known to man in their own soundproof, transparent-wall rooms. Throw in Guitar Hero and Rock Band to complete the set.
Floor 3: The LAN. 100 workstation-class PCs, dozens of game servers, a vast library of games and programs, all hooked up to a 10 gig fiber line. Fat pipe indeed.
All that, plus a caffeine bar, more security than the White House, and 30 private showers. All those nerds in one place are bound to be smelly.
Hey, a man can dream.
